I would also like to suggest the following. This was actually a suggestion from Gail Lacey who first started this group.
I'm suggesting that this particular group (Montpelier Pickleball) add the High School to the name. The Recreation Dept. will be creating a new Team for Elm St. Courts. I hope this would eliminate any confusion in the future. I encourage the person organizing these pickleball sessions to reach out to the Recreation Dept. (802) 225-8691. We would like to figure out a proper schedule before summer.

Hi Haidi. I've been playing for 4 years now and I know that there are players playing longer than me, so they can correct me if I'm wrong. During the time I've been playing, the advanced games were set at MHS and the intermediate and inter/adv at Elm st.

Dan

Simone, you are correct from my experience ad well. Intermediates would normally schedule at Elm Street and the Advanced group at the high school MWF mornings. I'm not sure it's a good thing that intermediates can no longer schedule their own sessions at Elm Street without rec dept pre-approval. If intermediates are going to schedule at the high school now to get around this, I would suggest afternoons or Tu, Th mornings so as not to conflict with the advanced group's typical playing MWF from 9-11 during the summer.

My 2 cents

Hello,
Please do not schedule any pickleball session at the Elm St. Rec Area. Any pickleball session using Recreation Area will be scheduled by the Rec Dept.
From what I understand - Inter/Advance Sessions take place at the High School. I will be scheduling session at the Elm St. for Beginner/Intermediate.
If you have questions, please come by the Rec Center. In the meantime, I would appreciate all sessions created on Elm St. to be taken down.
